COME TO OUR ANNUAL STREET FESTIVAL!! Be sure to mark your calendars for Saturday and Sunday, August 9th and August 10th. Our Street Fair will be held on those dates and we are sure you will not want to miss it. IT SHOULD BE AN EXCITING TIME FOR ALL!! TELL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO JOIN US FOR A VERY EXCITING TWO DAYS OF FUN AND SHOPPING. THERE WILL BE OVER 100 VENDORS!! (Hours – 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) Come and enjoy the food court, crafts, pony rides, music, balloons, face painting, prizes, blow up rides and lots of amusement rides for the kids!!
This year we will be having lots of entertainment. On Saturday, there will be two terrific Association members putting on a show. At 1:30 p.m. there will be a karate demonstration by Tiger Schulmann’s Karate Center and at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday the students at the American Black Belt Academy will be performing for your entertainment pleasure. Bring the kids as you will not want to miss these exciting performances.
On Sunday at 12:30 p.m. there will be a performance by Songwriters Michael Wells (M&R Multimedia) and Tom Ryan. At 2:00 p.m. there will be a performance by LaPrima Dance Academy and at 3:30 p.m. we will meet the Massapequa Park Merchants Association “Dog or Cat of the Year.” Trophies will be given out to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. PLEASE SUBMIT PHOTOS OF YOUR PETS TO EITHER SUZANN OF TOWN FLORIST OR CAROL AT LEFF & LEFF ATTORNEYS! (Both stores and office are located on Park Blvd). We will be judging the photos one week before the festival – so please send in your pictures right away – deadline is 8/4/08!! (Do not bring your pets to the festival – photos only).
